Tom Micozzie, Mayor of Upper Darby (Advisor):
Mayor Micozzie was elected into his second four year term on November 3, 2015. He has been deeply involved in many community activities and has initiated a pastoral committee with church leaders and regularly meets with community leaders to solicit their ideas and opinions on how to keep Upper Darby Township a very livable community. He also initiated Town meetings throughout the community and regularly meets with residents to hear their views, concerns and ideas.
Dr. Jeanne Elizabeth Rota Matthews:
Dr. Jeanne Rota Matthews is the founder of Productive Outcomes, a highly respected pioneer in developing masterful leadership. Productive Outcomes is attuned to the needs of the corporate world for direct, no-nonsense, hands-on methods of developing leaders and high performance senior teams as well as simultaneously identifying and disengaging those who do not measure up. Dr. Matthews also shares her knowledge through intimate conversations with interested leaders, executives and boards and through seminars and workshops nationally and internationally.
Dr. Matthews has over 20 years in the field of Psychology. She began her career as a direct care worker working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. As her experience grew, she managed and directed staff in a vocational setting. Dr. Matthews has worked in a wide variety of positions such as the following: a case manager, behavioral specialist, lead psychologist, mobile therapist, clinical psychologist, director of psychological services for the state of NJ, and as a business consultant. Dr. Matthews has over 15 years management experience, and enjoys giving back to the community thru volunteering her time to those in need.
Dr. Matthews experience has provided her the opportunity to contribute to a broad range of objectives, particularly in managing and coordinating multiple activities. She has demonstrated in multiple positions the ability to take on the most challenging tasks, serve as a key point of contact for clinical and program issues, and introduce out-of-the-box strategies to improve service.
Demetre Pough Edwards (Vice-President):
Demetre earned her Bachelor’s Degree in the Administration of Justice from Pennsylvania State University. She is the Director of Risk Management and Performance Improvement at a Behavioral Health Hospital and has over 11 years’ experience working in administrative roles. Demetre also has 20 years of working with youth, young adults and individuals with intellectual disabilities, severe disabilities and mental health in several capacities (from direct support up to Administrator). She has a strong desire regarding youth safety and their overall well-being, as her oldest son was targeted by a group of youth during his high school years. Demetre has an outstanding history of advocating for youth and her experience as a parent and professional speaks volumes about her character.
Mr. Justin Weleski:
Justin holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Communication from Temple University. He is currently the public relations officer for Ravits Family Markets. Justin brings many years of experience in marketing, radio, and public relations. He hopes to move Teach Anti Bullying, Inc. to a higher level, through his passion, commitment, and dedication to both community and our your people.
Board of Directors Dr. John A. Williams (Advisor):
Dr. John A. Williams is the Executive Director and Principal Consultant at the Center for the Study of Pan-Hellenic Issues. Dr. Williams was the former Dean of Graduate Studies at Cheyney University and Provost of Tuskgee University in Alabama. Dr. Williams been interviewed for print, radio and television productions, conducted workshops on college campuses, consulted with fraternities and sororities and served as an expert witness consultant in national cases involving intake violations and/or hazing. Dr. Williams attended both Southern University and Kansas State University.
