My Family

dr claudio cerullo and wife

People come into our lives for a reason. But how we met is somewhat of a fairy tale.

I was speaking at a conference on bullying and children with hidden disabilities and after my program, this woman came up to me, thanked me and asked if I ever thought about starting an anti-bullying/anti violence nonprofit organization. I told her that I was an educator and advocate but didn’t know much about nonprofits. She said, “I do and I want to help!” So with a few other parents and 90 days later we launched Teach Anti Bullying.

This woman, Daniela Desiderio, Who has two sons, one with ASD, became a great friend to me and my daughter, Isabella. Lots of hard work and 6 years later, on June 3, 2017, she became my wife. David and Vincent are not just my stepsons but are my children. I married a woman who shares my same passion and together we will continue to help children and families around the country. Even our children help and volunteer in our organization.

There is no way to know who we will end up with in life but sharing a passion like this is definitely a bonus!

God Bless!
